Moto Gymkhana opened 2014 with our first Experience Day on 26th April at Donington Park, with pre-ordered sunshine and dry weather. The day introduced 3 new groups to our sport, with the AJP’s proving popular and being fully booked out. A good number though chose to use their own bikes, which included a GSX-R, Pan European, SV650 and XJ6, to name but a few.
Despite the confused looks after the competition course walk, most improved their second attack times. Quite a few stayed to practice and play on the warm-up and competition courses at the end of the day, realising how addictive this sport is.
We also saw a large number of members return for the start of the 2014 season, clearly eager to get some practice in after the long winter months.
