Competition 2 – 2012

North Weald

Our first time at North Weald and being held on a Sunday. It was largely dry and the marquee held on,  being tethered to anything that had weight. There was a good turn out of members with a couple of newcomers, one of whom came 2nd in the competition – having never tried Moto Gymkhana before and was on a 125 which was the only bike he had available!After the competition, we ran the AJP Challenge. This was supposed to happen at Round 1 to showcase our shiny, new AJP bikes but sadly the weather was not on our side. North Weald provided the conditions to do exactly that, so each member ran the same competition course, all using the same bike, thus creating a more level playing field…..or so we thought! There were some surprising results and everyone had great fun riding something very different to their own machines.
